Ms Michelle Yip who has her background in make up, nails, image consultancy and jewelry design stated passion, sheer determination, hard work and will power as some of the reasons for overcoming her adverseness to be where she is today.
She started her nail courses in 2005 and even went to Korea where she earned her Master educator & nail license. Since then, she has trained under well-known world champions like Tom Holcomb, Danny Haile, Alisha Rimando and Enfu. She is a member of the pioneer batch of Nufu.Oh Master Educators from Singapore & Malaysia. She had also trained under Grand Master Trang Nguyen himself.
She stated constant upgrading, be it in terms of skills or knowledge, as one of the ways to keep up with the ever changing beauty industry. Besides skills, she firmly believes that the quality of the product used also affects the work produced. She travels to trade shows held in places like Japan and Korea at least once a year to keep up with the latest nail technology.

She is also a holder of the highly recognized Accredited Jewelry Professional (AJP) Diploma from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), the world's foremost authority in gemology. She also specialized in techniques like professional stringing, professional wirework, professional weaving & art clay silver.
Besides her
accomplishments in the nail & jewellery industry, she is also a certified
image consultant with Body Beautiful (USA), specializing in personal color
analysis. Her image mentor Miss Christina Ong is awarded the AICI Jane Sergerstrom
Award in 2007/08 and is 1 of only 8 Certified Image Master in the world. Thanks
to Christina, Michelle's venture into the world of image consultancy has helped
her to have a deeper insight of beauty. It is her understanding of colors & style that enables her to create the many different kinds of effects that is
needed for nails, make up & jewellery.
After a military career of more than 10yrs where she received 2 SAFETY LETTER OF COMMENDATION, Michelle is now a beauty & jewellery trainer. She finds that teaching brings her great joy. In her spare time, she will come up with more of her own handmade designs. She likes doing fusion projects & had came up with a technique of combining nail art & jewellery techniques together. It took her about 1.5yrs to fine tune the method but it is time well spent.
At times, she also does nails for ladies. Nails will always be her first love. She is also a avid diver as the oceans seem to draw her into their depths. She has also taken an interest in photography in recent times.
